Default shore dreams for kids and me

a lot of you on the board know me- i'm chris from ocean performance in connecticut. just got back from shore dreams, what an experience omg. Well run and organized i couldn't have been prouder to be a part of such an event. i take my hat off to all of the organizers and volunteers. some of you know i am a captain in the local fire department and a emt. i enjoy volunterering my time as much as i can but this was a special day for me. 26 years in the performance boat business/boat racing, this was the BEST thing i have ever done with a performsnce boat in my life. thanks for letting me be a part of it njppc. looking forward next year. great job all. hence the thread title shore dreams for kids--and me. Chris

Chris - thank you for making the trip down to the Jersey Shore!

You were a madman....first one to the dock and last one to leave!! Thank you so much for your dedication. Every boat load I saw you bring in had smiles plastered on their faces.

Thank you again for making the trip and we look forward to hosting you again next year!

Highlight of my Day. A Family of 6 got on board. The 6 year old boy Joey, jumped up on my lap and proceeded to instruct me on how to drive a boat. So, I figured lets see what this kids got. He drove the boat out of the Marina area, through the bridge, 6 miles around the bay and back. Without even a slight problem. All he wanted to know was how much faster will this thing go. When the time came for his ride to end, I got the most memorable hug you could ever imagine. Thanks NJPPC for that memory. Smitty
