Mercury Racing 920 921-5330
Mercruiser Consumer tech Support 405 743 6566

Only call Mercury racing if your dealing with Motors/Drives
500HP and up. I don't think they supprt stock 502's, 496,s and smaller engine packages.

Good luck

Default Waste Of Time

Got a woman tech on the phone at this number. In the end she says "where did you buy the engine" and thats where it ended. she knew nothing more than I did and if she did she was not going to give it up. I only wanted to know where the neutral cut off circuit was and she said they do not supply that info to just anyone so it's back to the drawing board. Just wanted to know if it was in the harness of in the lower unit and where to look for the two wires.
Thanks for these numbers.

Do you mean the neutral safety switch???? That is in the shifter and the wiring goes to the key switch.
