Plans are to leave early Thursday am and drive stright through. What is everyone seeing for diesel prices in the different states? Kansas is right around 1.34 missouri is some what cheaper, I filled up sat night for $1.19. Plans are to go through St. Louis and into Ill. then shot south. Hope to be in sometime Friday am. I think we are planning on picking up a boat in Pompoano Beach and then attend the races on Sat. and Sun. then head back. I'm pumped up and looking forward to the road trip.. Hope to see some board members there! I know I'll see Gordo for sure, picking him up after his shift and leavin town .

I presently have a 1994 Checkmate 283Convincor, we(wife and I)would like to move into the 32ft range But we have to get the checkmate repaired and sold first. I'm not racing, but speactating(sp?). Gordo is the racer of this road trip.. My first boat race and man am I pumped. This week is just gonna drag by!!!!

Chris, look for us we'll be out Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday, ther are airboat races on Saturday over at Chisholm Park just ask anyone where the park is, thats where we'll be hanging out, have a safe trip down, weathers great here!!
