i was looking into my oil plumbing options and am wondering if i can run a sandwhich style oil filter adapter to my cooler and use the filter under the adapter it next to the stringer rather then running a remote filter? i have no issue with getting the filter out of a tight space but i am unsure if it will clear the stringer, i do not have the motor in yet and i am sitting at work so i can get a tape measure out until tonight. if this will work i can loose some plumbing and not have to worry about the oil filter location with my new exhaust. thanks

If you have room for it sure. This is a nice compact unit. You can also install an oil temp. monitor while you are at it.
