Wink Don't get Bit by a Scorpion!

The 377 Scorpian blocks were built and assembled at Mercury Racing and not Mercruiser. I believe so the only shop who would have new ones should be Mercury Racing.
These are not GM off the shelf based engines.
As for a rebuilt 377 Scorpion, these cores or used engines would be hard to find for a re-man. If you have them I would suggest going to a quality marine performance engine builder in your area and having them redo them with equal or equivalent parts and specs.

Best Regards,

According to this http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...k+And+Camshaft part no. 840360A7 is for a partial engine assembly and the price is $12,443.45 at MercuiserParts.com

I don't know what that part no. (partial engine assembly) consists of though (whether it is a long block). I guess you have to ask a dealer.
