Its clicking in the y pipe. Loudest under the drive shaft where the pipe bolts to the transom. plate. I used a stethoscope. Are there flappers in the cast alum Y pipe. If thats the problem should i replace or run it the rest of summer.

yes there is a flapper. Your choice, probably no hurting anything.

Took the drive off and pulled it out. I couldnt stand that rattling noise. Thanks Bob
