Hey I'm building a 500efi punched out to 540 with Dart pro 1 heads and CMI sport tubes, What cam to use on it.

I have 2 of these in my Formula....500 efi's that are now 540's with ported Iron Eagle heads, 9.75 compression and the cam is a take off of the Crane 741. Difference is the intake lobe [email protected] instead of the 741. I have the monoblade TB and still do not get enough air down the throat of this thing. If your using the stock TB you'll make even less power than I do (630HP @ 5,200, 700TQ @ 4,300)

If you are ready to spend a little money, call RMbuilder. I just gained 5MPH with his cam & valvetrain. Runs quicker, idles better, very satisfied.
