Has anyone replaced the small wieland blowers on their Merc 525sc with Whipples? I have been thinking of doing this due to the hours on my blowers vs. just rebuilding them. I do not know if it would be worth the time and expense, or if there would be a noticable difference in hp and torque=> speed.

We've never personally done one but have had a few customers do it. If you keep the same boost, 4lbs, then there won't be much of an advantage, the trick is to run more boost, your motor has 7.5:1 compression and with the intercooler and screw compressor, you should have no problem with 8lbs. of boost, it will still be conservative but will make far more power, throughout the rpm range.
