BBC Compitition Cams Roller tip rockers.
I have a set of BBC Competition Cams Roller tip rockers & have a couple questions. Would they fit my vortec heads as is or are they generally for larger studs? Would there be any noticeable gains (1 mph?) being only roller tip vs full roller bearing & tip?

They won't fit well under the stock rocker covers.
They are worth it because they are roller tip bearing but it would only be in terms of reliability, you wouldn't 'feel' it.
They can bolt to the stock bolt down bolts as they are 7/16 top but you may want to switch to the adjustable type stud if you've changed cam. Just make sure you get the staggered (3/8" UNC stud lower 7/16" UNF upper studs.
Good Luck
