I am visiting my sister in Dallas for a week and was wondering were everyone hangs out with there boats. What lakes and where does everyone go: beach/bars??

Lewisville lake is the closest place - actually in Dallas.

The prime boating is at Lake Texoma, which is just 40-50 min north of Dallas. Lots of open water and sand beaches. Highport is a good bar, lots of boats at the islands. Theres a poker run there next weekend (8/1).

Anywhere to rent a jetski to tour around with my son?

Lake Lewisville has a place called Just for Fun and they rent jet ski's and also boats.

I believe eisenhower yacht club and grandpappy's both have jet ski and boat rentals on Texoma.

Ray Hubbard may not be a bad stop either. There seems to be a bit to do near the water. Bass Pro, several restaurants, close to Dallas.

How long are you here? Where exactly? "Dallas" covers a lot of area.
