Default Hey guys need some quick help on my flooded 27p

Hey guys, i just got a 1990 27p with twin 454's, however i am in a little bit of a pickle. This past weekend there was a lot of heavy rain fall. This morning i go to check on the boat which is parked on my driveway, and there is about 1.5 feet of water in the bow!!! now the part that scares me is that the boat is tilted with with nose up. there is no water in the engine bay, everything seems to be in the bow/cabin. I'm guessing there is a drain somewhere that is clogged, any info on where this drain is will be helpful.

Thanks

How did water get in the bow? Did you have a cover on the boat. Even with no cover and the door closed I wouldn' think you would see much seep by.

Interesting, let us know what you find out.

It's the anchor locker.....if you have one. My 24 cabin cruiser did the same thing.

It's one or both of your hatches. I had the same thing on my
P27. Just remove the glass and reseal them with black silicone. Check the mid bilge there is a drain that runs into there from the cabin. Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks guys i managed to get the water out by tilting the nose up real high for a solid 4.5 hours, and ya i think the water is leaking throught the sunroof. However i still cannot find where the drain is, i looked the the mid bildge and cannot find a drain, i must be blind.

btw i will be posting pictures shortly, when i get my new decals on.

There are some screws that hold the panel in place to gain access to the mid bilge pump,i don't remember if their is a hole for the water or not, if not you can put one in.
