You could probably trim it up and get a roost, and it is directly relative to how high your props are, surface props (1/2 in 1/2 out) Do throw a roost, the more blade you have out of the water the more roost you get, especially under acceleration, once hooked up it settles down some...

If it is that important to you a piece of PVC pipe mounted under the cavitation plate would probably throw a roost on just about any boat....

YES,,,,i don't know what kind of #4's the other guys had,,,but yes it will throw a roostertail and not a small one either.

I have a single 32 foot boat with a #4 and the rooster is at least twice that long if i trim out just a tat.
