I'm getting ready to put my engines back in and I forgot how the transom came appart. Dose the little lock washer looking thing go between the bellhousing and the transom plate on a bravo aplication? Let me know. Thanks

.The photos in the manual aren't worth copying. They show the bolt first, then a steel washer , and a spacer. then in between the bell housing and the transom assembly they have a spiral split lock washer and a fiber washer under that. Hope this helps

Cool

The double wound spring washer goes inside the larger fiber washer--- tape (masking) these to the transom plate in the proper alignment with the hole. Set the engine in place then the bolt with the large steel washer and the steel spacer about 3/4 inch long goes down the hole. also tape the nut from sliding out of place on the bottom of the transom plate engine mount part. These bolts need to be tight. Next step is to always check the drive alignment. This is a must....
