Wondering what a used msd ignition is worth with a new MSD distributer and wires.. Boat was dead in the water yesterday.. And any idea how many hours it takes to switch over a stock 454 ignition to full msd on a 502.. I have a feeling I am being ripped off...
thanks for your input..

I'll give it a shot, but there are alot of factors like age of the used stuff and quite honestly how it looks. Used 6m box, wires, and distributor = $400 being fairly new (less than yr).
Labor to install???? That is going to vary greatly as there are a bunch of factors, but I'm gonna guess...... it should take roughly 2.5-3 hours, so maybe $300 bucks?? And that is for a single. There could be other factors that will make it alot more expensive like real close twins, custom brackets, etc.
This is strictly a guess.

Brand new complete kit is $683. I think $400 is a little high.
