Also I have asked this guy a bunch of questions...

but are there anymore that I should ask?

and when I get down there what should I look for when I am inspecting it as far as bad/good on hull, floor, motor, ect... Ill post up some pics of the boat that he sent me so y'all can see her! He is going to let me hear it run, but it will be too late to go out on it.

It has a Bravo 1 drive in the pics. Good thing because an Alpha wouldn't last 30 mins.

Does he run it in the ocean? When was the last time a survey was done?

Did he say how fast? You may want to put hydraulic steering on it.

I wonder how much good that low-pro scoop is doing hidden behind the backrest...

I'd have the motor checked out by your mechanic. It looks like it's seen a lot of hours.

Nice truck!

Pretty sure the scoop is there to fit the carb under the lid...

he said it runs 80's... said he had it up to 92mph but Idk if I believe that...

The season is almost over, so a couple 3-4 outings and the boat will be going to the mechanic for winterization so I will have him check everything out...

I thought the same thing about the engine, but then i figured if its in Miami **** rusts and discolors just by sitting outside... especially being out on the water.

I will probably ask for receipts and stuff like that.

See that rust run under the transom assembly... take a small hammer with you and tap on the transom on the inside of the boat. Listen for soft spots. Ask him if the transom or stringers have ever been redone.

They are fun boats...handle the rough stuff good for their size.

get a survey, before you drive 18 hours....the little bit you spend will save you down the road. unless it's already a done deal....

I have a survey lined up for tomm morning at 7am to get it all checked out... I chose the Atlantic Marine group in Miami, Fl to do it. When i called they sounded extremely professional.

It is $525 for a full survey, compression and oil analysis on engine, and Oil analysis on the drive.
