Default Fuel delivery problems on 1999 Scarab 33AVS

I have 2 x 502MPI's , when I fill the fuel tank full , both engines work perfect , when the tank gets half , then in steep turns then posrtside engine's RPM drops and power loss. Its like the engine gets no feul. When the tank gets ti 1/4 , then the engine sarts cutting out. And I can't start this engine any more ! , the other engine works perfect all the time.
This morning the engine wouldn't start , then I checked the fuel pressure valve (under the intake plenium) . Only compresed air came out of the valve . Then we turned on the ignition on/off a few times untill the fuel came out , and the engine starts correct. I fill up the fuel tank and again everything perfect , until the tank gets half way.........

Now are there two fuel pick ups in the fuel tank ? Could it be that one fuel pick up line is broken , cracked ????

Any one had this problem ?????

Thanks for leting me know

You should have an access panel under the back seat or somewhere near there. Sounds like a broke or cracked pick up tube.

I checked and on the flore there are two openings , one is the gastank inlet and vent tube , on the other one there is nothing ?
Could it be that the fuel is not picked up from the top ???

The fuel is picked up from the top of the tank......but it should be at the rear of the tank/boat near the engines/engine compartment. The fill/vent are usually at the top/front of the tank because thats usually the highest point when the boat is in the water and allows you to fill it to the max capacity.

Thats kinda strange....does it have a removable floor? (the center section was one big panel that you could take off on the older boats)
I know other boats have a removeable panel inside the engine compartment to get at the fuel line fittings.....just follow them from the engine and see where they end up at...

On most all Scarabs the access is there are three access points. One under the bench seat and two under the carpet. They are round panels that you can use a screw driver to pop out. Never seen a Wellcraft Scarab that did not have these panels.
