The first boat was done with a 180 hp 4BY yanmar. I think it ran in the 43-45 range.
I know the next boat was done with a small block, but I am not sure if it was a 5.7 or 5.0. I was told it ran in the low 50s.
So far I don't think any have been built with outboards.

All the new Spectre 24's have been builot with I/O power to date. Look for a upcoming performance test in Powerboat Magazine with a 350 mag.

Jay and his crew did a great job on my 24 with a 300 Yamaha back in 2006 .... I have been following the new I/O ... but i really like the O/B on the little boats ! Keep up the good work Jay !
