2001 - 42 fountain - shorties ????
#2
Let us know how it works out. You may have to go with 5 or 6 blades to make it work. You should try to get your hands on a set of Maximus props to start. Not sure if Whipple upgrades on on your agenda, but more power will enable you to take advantage of the increased drive hieght.

I am sure you will benefit from shorties. My 2000 38 with 500EFI's picked up 3-4 mph. I had no problem getting on plane with full tanks, 12 people in the boat and standard Bravo 1 4-blades. Easily could have gone with 3" lowers.
