Thumbs up SKATERFEST..... Part of NORTHEAST TRIPLE CROWN

SKATERFEST IS COMING OF AGE......FAST!

It's official...................... After meetings and agreements with Dave Patnaude, and Billy Frenz, SKATERFEST is now the first jewel in the NORTHEAST TRIPLE CROWN ((1.)SKATERFEST May 18 and 19, (2.) NJPPC's ATLANTIC CITY POKER RUN June 1, (3.) NPBA"S NYC POKER RUN June 15). This allows you to make one trip to the Northeast and attend all three events with two weeks in between each to "tweak" your pride and joy. We have also made arrangements for secure storage for those out of Stater's who want to make the entire TRIPLE CROWN Series.

It get's better.......................

The attendees at this year's event have just gotten a WHOLE lot more intriguing as last year's star attendees including George Linder, Pat Patel, Doug Lewis and Chris Lavin have attracted even more top names................................

Mike D'Anniballe (World famous creator of Sterling Engines).......WILL ATTEND...and will participate in our "hands on" dyno workshop with Doug Lewis!

Peter Hledin (Who never goes anywhere!), creator of Skater Powerboats...................WILL ATTEND....... and will participate in design and construction seminars with George Linder.

Billy Frenz ex throttleman and founder of the NYC POKER RUN........WILL ATTEND......... and can provide hundreds of stories based on his experiences in both race and poker run promotion.

All you Sterling and Skater owners....and those that wannabe....here's your chance to meet "The Men Behind The Magic" up close and personal............ Ask those questions .............learn all there is to know from the top pros in the game.....bar none!

We are not finished yet, as more of the top names in our sport are being contacted as I write.

Dave Patnaude has also stepped up and created an outstanding program including a buffet dinner and entertainment for Saturday night......plan on staying up late and "swapping lies".

Once again your comments and suggestions are appreciated. I will continue to post periodic updates, but , in the meantime visit the official SKATERFEST website... www.Darrensoffshorephotos.homestead.com

or link to it from the NJPPC and/or NPBA websites. There you will find complete details regarding everything from accomodations to directions to overhead photos of the site.

How about them apples?

What is different about the new "Sage Drive" over the last design?

Don't mean to rain on the parade but it seems looking at my calrender that this is the saem dates as the Marathon, FL APBA race. Some people may not be able to attend. Hope this will not hurt it.
