Need a 3 litre Merc 250 outboard lower rebuilt in South Fl
#1
So we were out running yesterday and I wasnt exactly "Easy" on it, but it ran fine all day. Left lunch, going along at 30, cuz I had a few, 2 miles from the ramp it let go If I shift it without it running prop locks in gear, but when it is running it doesnt spin in gear, checked the splines on the crank seem OK. I removed the lower today and it seems like if I put it in gear, and spin the input shaft, it spins but I get nothing out of the propshaft, but yet, cant spin the propshaft at all when its in gear. I know it needs a propshaft, cuz the previous owner hit something and the splines are slightly twisted. To top it all off, now is a bad time $$wise. Who do ya know that can do a good job for the right $$ down here?? Also, if someone has a used propshaft that might help.
Thanks,
Rick

Mark,
its beyond that. Also, didnt hit anything, just like to run it hard(ask X-Ray50, and TZ Rider
), and it had some previous damage to the propshaft, so probably something that was injured, but not broken completely from when the last guy hit something.
