I've been chasing a problem for some time...
Engine is not showing any codes on computer, but has a very distinct "miss" when under a load, i.e. coming onto plane. I've checked the plugs, and they looked good, so I did not bother changing them.
All connections look good, etc.
Oh, this is a 2008, with only 70 hrs.
Do you think I should change the plugs anyways, as the next step. Or since they looked ok, just move to compression, leak down?
Or should I try swapping coils with the other engine that is good (should have mentioned have twins).
Someone recommended a timing light on the plug wires to verify I am getting spark? Is that worth it?
Or if there is anything else, just yell at me...

Yeah, I know what you mean...the plugs are a bear to change. Should have changed them when I inspected, but never thought plugs with so few hours would go bad.
I have not checked fuel pressure yet...
I am just trying to do things on my own before I hire a mechanic who will charge me for many of the basics I can do.
