Hello I'm from Houston and mainly do all my boating on Lake Conroe or LOTO. I am thinking of going to Austin this weekend and was wondering if anyone knew anything about Lake LBJ or any surrounding lakes in the area that would work for me. I would love to take the boat up there with me just dont know if the lake has a size limit or if its even worth my time. Thanks Tyler

I'm in Arlington but I've heard LBJ is way down. Hopefully some Austin members will chime in.

I wouldn't take your boat on Lake LBJ, it is way to small for your boat and there are a lot of skiers on Lake LBJ. Lake Travis has all of its public boat ramps closed right now. There are some other boat ramps, but I do not know where they are.
