Anyone know anything about this lifter brand for the 496HO engine?

I asked Comp Cam about this lifter. They said that it is a Comp Cam design, steel body, made in the USA but could be made by any or all of 3-4 vendors that make lifters for them. The real down side that Comp Cam stated was that it is only recommended for max valve spring loads in the 300 to 330 # range. They said that at loads in excess of this may result in the hydraulic valving being overcome and the internal lifter piston bottoming out and the associated problems that occur as a result ie excessive wear and valve train noise, etc.
