Default looking to maybe get into a sunsation

I'm sick of getting the snot pounded out of me in my 22' thoroughbred every time I take it out. I've been looking at 33 avs's but can't seem to find one in my price range so now I'm looking at sunsations as well. First of all whats the difference in the different model 32's? I don't want mcob and I'd like to be in the 80mph+ category with stock power. I'm trying to stay 50k and below range.

Is there a major differencce in wave handling and cockpit size for the 288 and the 32?

The cockpit on the 288 and the 32 are the same size. If you are trying to stay in the 80mph range and spend around 50k you're going to get some home built motors, there is not too many 32's for sale with big block stock power for around 50k the difference in the 32' models is options the s=standard light for performance and the ss=more potions and the ssr=fully loaded, but again in your price range you won't find any of those just Dominators for us that want to spend less which is an awesome boat can't wait to find one this winter.

In that price range you are not going to find an S,SS or SSR...they are all the new hull with 2 steps and about 10 inches more freeboard.
The old style Dominator hull is most likely what you are gonna find....most peeps like the way they look more than the SS because they are lower in the water...496HO's should get you in the speed range you are looking for....
Good luck with your search, you will not be disappointed in your choice! I owned a 99 Dominator (now owned by Magic Medicne) and now own a 09 SS....

If you find a boat that you are interested in, get the HIN number and give me a call at the factory and I'll pull the file to get you the history on the boat.

The 288 handles the rough water very well. As far as the cockpit goes the 288 and 32 are the same size although it will be tough to find a 32 for the price range you are in that will run 80. I am pretty sure a 502 boat will not run 80, however my 288 with the Merc. 525SC runs very close to 80 and if I were to sell it I would ask around $50,000 for it.
