what kind of boat is it and when did you discover this? unsure of the boat you have and how your exhaust exits but you didn't have it beached did you? how did you discover your sea water pump froze up? have you done anything else to the engine or hose routing recently? how much water was or is in the cylinders and what ones? seems strange to have both these things happen near or at the same time. do you have the heads off or did you roll the engine over with the plugs out? if the heads are off did you check the gaskets? also intake gaskets???

Water in the crankcase won't show on the dipstick. Oil is lighter than water so it floats on top.

Get your heads off quick and get the water OUT!!!

If you've waited long enough for a response before doing so, it may already be too late, unless it's fresh water. Either way, get the heads off, dry the block out and drain it completely, I used some water dispersant while doing so just to be sure, then drain the block again, flush it a few times and do it all over again.

Let us know how you go.

Good luck!

I think this is going to get ugly. Sorry. Sounds like you have a crack from the heat somewhere. heads or block.

oil in the fuel pump???

I'd go with cracked block, head, or simply head gasket. if water pump froze, chances are engine froze also...

but it's not clear to me...

he probably has the fuel pump/water pump combo that has a small oil reservoir.
