I have to pull my engines this winter and I was going to repaint the engine bay and rewire. Does anyone make "kits" for twin engines. If not does anyone have suggestions on wire type, sizes, diagrams?
Thanks

I'd buy the CP Harness if I had to do mine over again, they're apparently longer and the wire jackets are better. If you're doing a custom re-wire, the CP kits will allow you to route the wires where you want, I found the stock merc wiring too short to run where I needed it.
I posted a twin engine wiring diagram on here for someone a while ago from the merc manual, do a search and it should come up. Let me know if you need any specific diagrams and I'll see what I can do.
Good Luck!

Most important thing for boat wire is make sure that you use tinned wire. It will not corrode like the plain copper wire. Even if you are in salt it will last much better.

And good flat braided gounds to the engine and heads do not use battery cables for grounding but flat braided gounds work best.
