I have a nordic thor which uses similar props to a eliminator and runs very similar in the water. I wanted to know where you run the propshaft depth on a 26 or 27 with a extension box with a 12" setback. I was thinking 1" to 2" above the lowest point of the sponson but maybe higher. I would love to here some input from you guys. thanks a lot

I am running 1/2" above but I have a bowrider that has a lot of weight up front. Any higher and I would not be able to stay on plane since if running under 28 now I start coming off of plane.

Never ran an extension box on the 27 because the actually slowed them down from what we observed. I would stick with a standard hieght then go with a 2" shorty bottom. If you are high then you can just buy spacers an inch at a time.
