The chances of rain are now up to anywhere from 40-60% for Saturday depending on which weather forcast you listen to. In either case the odds are not good. Not to mention with all the rain we've had the water level will be up and most likely tons of debris in the water. I think it's our best bet not to try it. If anyone is interested I'm thinking if it looks like it may clear out same Saturday to contact Black Jack Cove and see if we can reserve the deck around 1-2 pm for lunch and a raft up on the lake somewhere. Let me know your thoughts. Feel free to call my cell if you need to 615-417-0765.
Thanks

YEA all that floating debris around like kenny-o's outdrive parts, Butch's lifters,my impeller, and Baldwins empty hair spray cans sure could mess up a boat at 100 mph...

After driving over the bridge in Old Hickory last night I agree that a wise descision has been made, but do believe a reschedule date should be made ASAP.

nice place - yes....however, dont forget to pack your patience for that trip. Our first and last trip there this year was 1.5 hour wait for appetizers and an additional 1.5 hour wait on our dinners - sandwiches at that. not even offered a sorry about the wait or a free desert or an F.U. on the way out 3.5hours later....we were told by management that they didnt feel bad bc everyone had to wait as long as long as us!?!?....now thats some killer PR work right there. just my 2 cents, maybe someone else has been in and out of there in less than 2 hours...but i doubt it..lol, you may want to reserver the dock for the afternoon so everyone can eat.

I was there the night after your fiasco. Since I know some of the employees (the bartenders, imagine that
), I asked them what went wrong. They said you were a smartass, and to not come back
........just kidding, one of their "chefs" didn't show up and the whole night was totally F'ed up. Sounds like they didn't handle it very well from a customer service standpoint. I'm not shilling for the house, but I have always gotten good food and drinks. Service has been pretty good too. My only complaint is the bar is too small, they need better bands (please something other than country all the time), and boat parking is tight. I think the boat parking will get better when they finish the transient docks. BTW, they have 93 octane fuel (only marina on the lower end) for $3.something a gallon.
Regards,
Steve
