Default 340 w/ Trip Outboards???

anyone know how this boat handles? Speeds with trip 250's? Troubles? Always had I/Os but outboards are looking more tempting every day.

wade, you can't have it!
sut30's gonna need the room when the "new addition" comes...plus: he loves the ob's...
i know not to mess with texas, but i think this one's going to stay east....
seriously, though, we run with a 30? (see pic)with trips and she runs awesome (see fly by on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUnbYWfHrng )...yes, that's tsunami and the new 21...34 has to be just as smooth, and the cockpit looks huge...nice boat...would if i could

The 34 lw/ ob's looks like a bargain...i'd love to check it out to see what it's all about...sorry to confuse, forgot tsunami and the 21 are both for sale, too....buy 'em all for the sutphen tri-fecta!

That would be sweet but a battle at the same time. it would be hard to pick which one to take out every day.

What are the thoughts on a 34 with trip 250's? How do the hulls handle with ALL of the weight in the very back?

I figure the balance is achieved by the extra length....however, i'm no engineer (hell, i had trouble with the i before e thing in "achieved"..) oh yeah, and i've never seen one in all of my 41 years....only twin bbc/trs i/o's.....i'm guessing that with the usual tendency to fly bow-up, the ob's on the back (lighter and leveraged) might make for a real sweetly balanced, efficient ride..??

Take a look at james gangs boat for rteference. Its an animal but has 3 300's on it.
I think Thats the boat C was refering to in the first posts.

If I had the extra $$$ ID be looking at that OB real seriously.

I like the OB boats alot now.

Itd be tough to go back to I/O IMO.

The cockpit room is way worth the sound loss and thats all your really losing. The O/b's have it beat inn every other way.
