Has anyone tried a left on a single eng ? I know fountian runs them why does'nt anyone else,it can't be because of the drive twins turn them both ways. I'm going to try it just thought maybe someone would have a good or bad reason.

I run a left hand on my 30 superboat y2k 800hp konrad ,helps counter react engine torque, never tried a right hand but was told by john at factory it was a better way to go,we also set up a 29 fountain single with a 900hp/konrad with a left prop runs great

I never had any problems with the right hand but it seems that it wants to list to the port above 90 on smooth water. Thanks for the info,I think its worth a try. I'm going as fast as I care to go, so I'm working on the stability issue. Maybe just a little more speed will come with it.

We do it on a variety of single applications. It is always done to create better handling and boat attitude for the reason MDG suggested. With that can come better speeds.
