Default Engine ready to install!!

Shot a quick video of the engine ready to go, just in time to winterize. Did most of the work, and all the paint in my garage.

Looks good , but run it on a dyno before you put it in . It will save a bunch of headaches later . Just my 2 cents good luck , Jeff

the valve covers were on the previous motor when I bought the boat, and the guy put them on and it has long hoses with baffles in them, kind of a low tech breather. I does not look the best, but is functional for now. The holes in the valve covers are too large to cover with a conventional breather. I spent enought building the motor that another $400 for the valve covers I want is not in the budget so they will have to suffice for now.

nice, but do yourself a favor now, change the crossover to one with a by-pass and rub a 140 therm. I had the same set-up on mine stayed way to cold and built up a ton of condensation in the engine that would not burn out...Rob

Dude . go to the classified section and buy some better looking looking and functional valve covers , after you install the engine , you'll be opening up the hatch all the time to show it off ... and you don't want those breathers on there !

The motor looks great. What's she going in?

BTW the silver and orange is a great combo.
