My system is not for sale. But I have a big system in my 30' Scarab Sport. I recommend the set-up to anyone. You can hear me from a mile away, sit on the beach and be entertained and rock your gauges loose with the bass. PM your email and I'll send photos.

Thumbs up

Try Beating this for a starter system for $99.99. just add more amps and speakers if desire. I just bought mine from west marine and I am fricken happy for the price and quality. Even epoxy coated board for salt water app/ Plus anti shock feature for the rough seas you endure. Order this item from a west marine dealer near you and save the shipping also. anybody else can not beat that price for a MARINE RADIO. Ipod ready also. Even Infra red remote.

50 bucks and I'll sit in your boat and sing "Old Suzanna" while you drive.

this is an old race boat and there is really no places to mount anything except for the face of the box that is under the back seat.....so I am thinking I am going to use (4) 9.5" DC Gold speakers because they seem to be the best all around speaker. My buddy has 4 of them in a center console and its pretty loud....what do i need for a head unit and amp??? here are the specs on the speakers:
90 Watts RMS (Continuous) Power each speaker
300 Watts peak power each speaker
4 ohms
99 dB SPL IW / 1 meter

Clarion M475 head unit if it does not need to be water proof. If it needs to be waterproof then a Clarion CMD5 head unit. Then get an Alpine PDX 4.150 amp. I have DC Golds and they are a great speaker. I have 6 7"'s and 2 6x9's and a pair of Alpine subs.
Get your head unit, amp and wire off ebay. It will cost MUCH less.
