Hello, I recently purchased a 2008 Eliminator 230 Eagle with a 496HO Bravo X drive 1.5 grs. The boat did not come with a prop so I borrowed a Bravo 1 24P and a Bravo 1 30P (all we had).We are on a lake at 3400 ft elev. and my boat does not have a stepped hull. My problem is that with 4 adults 3 kids and 50 gal of fuel the boat only ran about 63mph with the 24P and turned around 4500 rpm. With only two people, the boat would run about 65mph and turned 5000 rpm when trimed past the allowed trim range (seemed like it wanted more trim than allowed by the limit). When we installed the 30P with 2 adults and 2 kids 3\4 fuel (next day) in rough water, it ran 66-68 mph and only turned 4200 rpm again that was with a lot of trim. The boat never chine walked or anything like that. I would like to see at least 70 mph with this boat which I dont think it's out of line. I just purchased a used 26P bravo 1 but have not got a chance to try it. A friend suggested maybe going to a Mirage plus 3 blade and that would get me more bow rise due to the fact that the hull is not stepped. Any suggestions?

Call me when you have a chance and we can cover a lot of ground in a short period of time.
