Default 1997 31 scarab/ 1988 fountain

I was wondering if anybody happens to know anything about one of these two boats?

That is a disgusting price on that Scarab. It is ten years newer and will outrun that fountain, big time.

Both of them are a lot of boat for that kind of money. Just depend's what you are looking for. The scarab will out run the beak hands down . If set up right it should run close to 90 mph.

The Scarab looks to be in very good condition! Lotta boat for that money.

The Scarab appears to be a way better deal, but you never know when buying used. That old Fountain just looks so tough though. I'm by no means a Fountain fanatic, but I love the ones from the 80's when they went by meters. I guess I'm just replaying the " old times " in my head. Way better days in my opinion.

Both are from LC Marine check them thoroughly. Guy just bought a Baja from them and found out it had a cracked block. I'm pretty sure they were there for a long time also.

A friend of mine looked at the Fountain earlier in the week. Nice boat for the money. Either looks like a decent deal, personally i like the older flat transom Fountains.
