Well I feel stupid. Took the new boat out to test some different props I picked up. The boat has a 23p cleaver on it now, so I decided to try out a 24 bravo and a few other 3 and 4 blades. Swapped the prop and headed to the lake.

Warm the boat up, put it in reverse, and it goes forward!

Stupid me, apparently the boat is left hand rotation. Serves me right for not paying attention!

It's an '81 24' cig with trs, so no switching the cables for me

Back to pick up some LH wheels tomorrow!

What's the problem? Just put the boat in reverse and you will go forward!

U have 1 reverse clutchplate and 7 forward !!!!!

Fortunately I had the other prop with me. At least I didn't waste the whole evening!
