world merlin v/r 345 119cc steel heads fully ported and polish with severe duty valves 2.25 and extreme duty 1.94 blue print heads with big valves for $1,500 is that a good price?

I would want to see legitimate flow numbers on them on a known flow bench. I had merlin vr's before and flow wise they sucked,especially on the exhaust side until exstensive porting,Smitty

I would be looking for some aluminum heads to put on a 588 sc engine. You will need the aluminum to take full advantage of the supercharger.
If you feel you must run cast iron heads, I would probably look for a different head if you want to make the most power you could.
