Well guys n gals, I just found me a new hobby
Boating is still there of course but I wanted something to do on them non boatable days.
2 weeks ago I went out and bought a Traxxas T-Maxx
This is a Nitro powered 4x. This thing ROCKS
Took awhile to get the thing started. Newbie
but now I have already replaced 4 items due to training
Next may be the Villian boat for out on the water

Be carefull, this can be expensive just like a boat! I bought my 9 yr old son a Traxxas Rustler electric truck. I take him to a track once a week. Every time we go it costs more money on "upgrades" Now he wants to go faster (gotta love that additude)
So I'll be going for a whole new truck in the future! That T-maxx is a bad a## truck! Have fun with it. It is a good hobby! I'm holding back on buying myself one though. I have enough to do working on his!

That's why I bought him the electric, It's not quite as fast. But he can drive it alot better than me! Must be the video games, you know, hand eye cordination. Wait till you wanna replace all the plastic with aluminum!

Hey Mnfastboat, I too just got a T-maxx last week. 4 friends of mine all went down to hobby people and bought T-maxxs. After 2 weeks of beating them up one friend just cannot get his to run right. He added a pipe and EVERY aluminum piece made for these things. So he is pissed and gos out and buys another one! He calls me up and gives it to me. I had the thing running in 20 minutes. Turns out the fuel tank was loosing pressure. Simple fix with the new style fuel tank (minus the primer) and it was fixed.
I just cannot believe how much torque these little engines make.

MnFastBoat:
Put a .21 motor with conversion kit and a tuned pipe on that T-Maxx and look out, thing will pull a wheelie
. Gotta watch out for things to break though
Here is a kick ass site just like OSO that deals with the T-Maxx
Have fun
