Default H2oscene Y2K 2009 Season is almost over

You know it is late in the Season on Long Island when 1/3 of the boats are Patrol and Saftey Boats, 1/3 of the boats are Clam Boats and the other 1/3 are SUPERBOATS!!!

New You Tube Video last weekend doing a drive by of Gilgo Beach "Jerry Fest 2009":

H2O,

Nice setup! Walk to the back and go boating! Awesome.

How late in the year do you go boating?

The girls remind of Betty Cook Racing Team.

Likewise I grew up weekending and summers on the water. Had my own boat as a pre-teen. Loved driving my dads 17" Crusers Inc lapstrake boat with twin 40's back in the day and thought it was the sh!t! My nine year old son is starting to dig the speed of the Superboat and as you said getting him involved as much as possible...Nothing like the accelerated class huh! Keep up the good work!

Nothing like starting on a small boat to get a real feel - I started by harrassing my neighbor that flipped and sunk his 15' Glasspar G3 to let me have it... After watching it on the bottom of the canal for a season he finally told me to take it... A lot of work later at 13 I was out runnin the whalers... I contribute the inlet runs in that boat to my some of my best learning experiences...
