Default Advice on 1999 38 Scarab 2 step with 502's

Looking to add a good wave crusher to my fleet. I test drove this boat and it feels solid and heavy and gets up on plane well but honestly how fast should this boat be with Bravo outdrives 26P Bravo 1 props and these engines? What max rpm? I'm not looking for a speed demon, mainly a family wave crusher but realistically what HONESTspeed should this setup see? And what's you guys opinion on an appropriate price? Please give your experience.

Not an expert by any means, but my boat is a similar set up. Same motors, same props, and a twin step. I would say top speed would be around 73-77mph at roughly 5100rpm. As far as price who knows. If it's not a repo, probably somewhere around $75-80k.

The 33 AVS runs about 75-76 w/ 502s spinning 28 Bravos. Your boat will be heavier by approx 1400Lbs and spinning less prop. Low 70s??

65-70 mph and no more than $50,000 in this market.

are they the blue motors(500hp) or the mpi's(415hp)?So far my 99 38 scarab with 500hp's and boostpower's 65hp kit ran a solid 80 at 5000 and was still climbing on flat lake water. Also -2 imco's and rigged +2" high....and 40% kevlar. 30 pitch Bravos.good luck!
Oh ya, with 26 pitch it ran 77 at 5700rpm. dont expect that with out the boostpower kits, not that I'm associated with them but it does work.

Low 70's with 502mpi's. About 80 with 500hp's. A 33 AVS should just touch 80 with 502mpi's. I know 2 people with them and both have seen 80.

I'd say right on with the speed but I'd say $45,000 max.

They want $52K and the boat barely goes 62mph in 60 degree air.
