Default Hey cat-guys!!!

Can u explain to me why the engines seem to have different trim. Are there any advantages or is it just something wrong?

PS. It seems to me that this guy overdid it a bit..or..?

Cheers
Thomas

Carl is a friend of mine and I have been in that boat. Wild ride! It may be the angle of the camera that is making it appear that the motors are trimmed unevenly. It can also be very difficult to keep all three trimmed the same even with one trim button, as the trim motor speed will not always trim the same. In a nutshell keep them exactly the same.

I forgot to mention the boat is flying very nicely and the rooster tail behind the boat looks a touch high but not by much. So he is about perfect.

Default oki doki...

...so..why did this guy stop at just 3 engines :-)

The reason for my asking is that i have I'm leaning on moving to a cat. Eíther a skater 28 or profile 28. Different opinions asked for!!!

I think that i have the Vee-thing pretty much down, been running those since i was a kid.

So...where should I turn my attention if want a cat with either a single big-block or 2 outboards.

If you are looking for a good fast 26 ft boat, American Offshore is a good one. People have installed upto 1200hp in them. A guy a the Ozarks had his doing about 140mph
