Sitting here with no boats on the bay out in front of my house and the first snow of the season on the lawn.....time to start thinking about next summer.
How about a Banana Boat only fun run next summer on Narragansett Bay? We could run it like a poker run and cover the whole bay and some ocean running around to a lunch stop at Newport.
Any Banana Boat is eligible to participate..24's any 33's that may still be around, outboards, sterndrives, singles or twins.
The factory will bring one of the new deck design 28s too.
Say early July sometime.....How many boats can we look forward to coming?????

hey..
we were thinking the same thing for sutphens...can you think of 3-4 nice stops with about 15-20 miles of fairly sheltered cruising inbetween? start and end at a good ramp/marina..and no big$$ entry fee...just boats and fun...and maybe a wager on the side
i'm in and would like to help set it up....

Charlie: Ihave spoken to a couple of folks that have Banana Boats and would like to set something up for this summer. I have also spoken to my Marina and they tell me they can accommodate a number of boats for a weekend. If we can do this I think we can have a lot of fun. Please keep me posted as the summer approaches. Thanks.
