Great looking boat! Looks to be in great shape. Just don't like the trips...

Hows things been Matt? You coming out this way any time soon?

The 88 hours are probably on replacement engines and not the originals. Just my thoughts on a boat that is 10 years old.

Still is a good looking 40.

Anybody see one of them with a twin staggered setup?

That is good looking! Would hate the maintenance and fuel on trips, but heavy azz baja probably needs all three motors to move!

Yeah the factory boat named "Spotlight" w/ the 850's.

The one that fell off the trailer.

Staggered setups typically do not work well with a non-ventilated hull that requires you to carry the bow.

Hey Mike how have you been doing?

The fuel would not be as bad as the maintenance. A twin setup does not burn as much as two singles, and a triple does not burn as much as three singles. The problem with triples according to those I've spoke with that own them is the added weight kills the performance. You get less than 50% of the engines capability in actual performance gains so they are not AL GORE approved.

Maintenance would be a killer for sure with three water pump rebuilds per season, 24 quarts of oil and three filters every change, 24 spark plugs and the list goes on. The biggest concern I see is the expense of three outdrives. Keeping them alive takes a lot of oil changes, you now have three props to maintain and the center drive really hurts the draft of the boat in shallow conditions.

That being said it is a beautiful boat and what looks like a very fair price.

What kind of speed would you expect out of a boat like this with triple 500HP's and extension boxes?

What is the deal with the "Custom Extra Light Setup with Deca Light Stringers" - Did that save them a whopping 50 pounds...
