Default Jabsco 43210 vs. Stock Mercruiser

My boat came with one of each. The all bronze Jabsco is in far better shape the Mercruiser (both need impellers though). What do you all think? Buy another Jabsco to match or find another Mercruiser? These are on mild 468's. Thanks, Randy

I would change the other to the jabsco, the later mercs with the plastic housing don't seem to hold up well in my opinion...Rob

the jabsco is soft brass/bronze it will wear just like the merc pump the stainless steel will last much longer and the price is not that much more.
