Anyone know anything about these?

just curious. I have seen a couple pop up in my searches, and know nothing about them.

Canadian made boat. the marina I kept my boat at in PA was a dealer for them for about 5 -6 years ago. they couldnt give them away. maybe they sold better in Canada ??

It's called Campion Chase. Chase models were the so called high performance series built in Kelowna British Columbia. Campion built family , fishing and cruising boats before they jumped in the performance boat biz. Buddy of mine had an 800 a while back , he sort of liked it . The 910 with twins is the one more like an offshore boat , but nowhere near the build of a real offshore boat. Pretty light and fast with the Apex bottom . Rex Jardine was behind these Chase series ,who btw is the builder of the Batboats now.

The original Chase was supposed to have been splashed from a Velocity hull. I have heard that it was not done with permission. At some point they added steps which IMO is adding insult to injury.

friend of mine had one years ago with twins,,,,, very fast for the power,,,,, but it rode like *^&&*(*&^&%

I'm not sure about the bottom being the same . I know two people with Velocities , one being a 26 the other a 32. The 32 Velo has an 8.2 beam [ not sure of the deadrise, most likely 24*] while the 910 has an 8'7 beam with 22* deadrise. According to my friend who had the Chase 800 model, said that the 910 [ 5800] a bit rough in choppy water ,while the 32 Velo [ 6950 lbs ] runs pretty smooth in the same condition. The Chase 910i has Corecell sandwich construction with Kevlar reinforcement , 3TEX three dimensional fiberglass .The rigging isn't bad and they use brand name equipment like Gaffrig etc.... . With twin Prochargers the 910i should run in the high 80's low 90's.

I have rode in some ill handling boats over the years but the chase I rode in was the worst !!!!! It had 500efi motors and was way over powered. Would have been a nice inner bay boat with 350's.

A friend of mine had the 910 with twins. The boat was fairly quick and fast, but you could feel and hear every ripple. The boat ran level, but it sounded as though it would blow apart even in the slightest chop. Not even close to the feel of a Velocity hull of comparable size, or a few feet shorter for that matter. However, It held up well considering how he treated the boat.
