What is the reasonable way to go in regards to a Rev Control for a stock Merc. Ign. set up. TB-1V Ign. Years ago I used a couple but have no idea what model they where. I was thinking they were MSD that just simple hard wired into my TB ign.

It seems like there is so many MSD items now a days. I saw this one here although it's not for Marine use. I could alwlays mount it up under the dash panel.

I used the MSD 6AL-2 on my TR IV. It has been going strong for over a year now.

MSD has a box you can wire into the Merc TB IV. The cost is about $100-110 each. I will sell you two for $100 and guarantee they work. I probably have another $100 in the RPM plug-in chips I will throw in.
Most important, I have the wiring diagram We used these for years before moving to MSD...then Crane.
