DJ......I was listening to a story on the weather channel about beaches near you putting discarded christmas trees on the beaches to make a barrier of some kind to stop erosion.
I don't know if it's going to work but it's a good idea on how to get rid of your tree.

It works! They have been doing that for years at Atlantic Beach and it helps "rebuild" the dunes by placing the trees on the dunes it creates "roots" for wind blown sand to stack up therefore naturally building up the dunes.
