Question 502 with blower, how many hrs before adj valves?

If I had a big block with a blower on it. The valves must need adjustment more often than a stocker.... Odviously it could be depend on maybe how it was built or how hard you run it.. but as a general rule how many hours do you run before you adjust them???

Thanks,
Ryan

I assume you are referring to a solid lifter motor. I adjust mine every 25 hours.

if you have a hydraulic roller you don't have to adjust anything.

Hydraulic lifters should be never. Solids, depends on how hard you run. A friend of mine runs solids and has checked the adjustment, but has never actually had to adjust them. I think he has about 100hrs on his engines.
