Thumbs up Got to take the Top Gun for a spin!!!!

We finally had an afternoon that was nice enough to take the `Gun for a spin! The lake temp is still pretty cold and the oil temp guages only read 140 deg. but all went well I seems to idle well when it warms up and doesn`t load up.We cruised around at 3-4k and all seems fine, got on it a little but I`m afraid of getting on it with the oil temp so low. I want the Keith Eikert oil thermostats to reduce warm up time,(takes about 20 mins at these temps)
But other than that we love it!

Ill bet that thing is a dream to drive on all that glass like water.

Enjoy the ride.

What exactly did cruise speed trun out to be? And in who's mind is cruise speed defined I know I cruise at 4800 rpm all the time.

We got out on the water last nite also, waterthingy, and the rest of the crew.

My wife and I spent the afternoon on the water today and had a blast The oil temp got up to 200 when I was on it for a little bit but at cruise(3500 rpm) it was around 160. Still loads up a little after extended no wake zones (fowled 2 plugs) I am going to turn the idle screws in some more. Otherwise I am very happy with the new toy although my wife likes the Baja better!

Kurt.
