Possibly might be selling the project I got going on,
I got too much other stuff to take care of right now, and I might be buying a new house soon, and the wife has been nagging me to get rid of it so I figured I would list it and see if theres any interest
1987 Baja Force 235 red/white color scheme
outside is in pretty good shape
it had bottom paint when I bought it so I stripped that all off a few months ago,
bottom of hull is in pretty good shape,
just a few very very slight nicks need to be fixed on it
nothing major at all
I was planning on repainting the boat and I have PPG concept paint, and awl grip paint for the bottom to go along with the boat if you want it
stringers are solid
interior seats are in okay shape,
backseat vinyl is in good shape, just the seat base needs new vinyl cause it ripped,
sun deck in great shape,
Motor is a completely fresh rebuilt Gen VI 454 BBC motor
Block was zero decked and just freshly honed (it did not need to be bored)
hot tanked and oil and water passages cleaned new freeze plugs etc.
has a complete forged bottom end
502 forged steel crank,
Eagle I beam rods
Stock GM small dome pistons
Plasma rings
Clevite P series bearings
custom hy roller cam from Bob Madera at Marine Kinetics
Lunati roller rockers
Morel hyd roller lifters
Trend custom pushrods
Early casting large oval port steel heads that were ported a good amount by my engine builder
Manley Severe duty intake valves
Inconel exhaust valves
2.19 intake valves
1.88 exhaust valves
double roller billet timing chain
Melling HV oil pump and pickup
edelbrock performer RPM air gap intake
Barry Grant Demon 850 double pumper carb
MSD billet distributor (still in the box)
everything in the motor is brand new (except the head castings)
heads were milled and are perfect completely rebuilt
motor is still wrapped up in the garage on the engine stand
100% fresh and brand new
new coat of Por-15 engine paint gloss black,
and a set of Teague Marine Valve covers
also have an older load rite trailer for the boat as well,
its not the prettiest trailer but it works just fine to pull the boat around
Ive had the boat in the water prior to pulling the motor and everything worked just fine, only issue was the old motor was a dud
when I pulled it apart it was something that was just slapped together and had about 7 to 1 compression peanut port heads q jet carb etc. so the boat was really only running about 50mph
boat originally came with a Alpha drive
Ive sold the alpha and purchased a complete Bravo transom assembly thats in great shape, inner ring is like brand new
outer assembly is dis assembled right now and I have all brand new parts to rebuild it
boat is a pretty solid project and for someone with some time to finish it off should be a very fun boat that does not cost an arm and a leg
looking to get $6500 for everything, boat, new motor and trailer
theres some things in leaving out but if your interested pm me on here or email me at
[email protected] if your interested
located on south shore of Long Island, New York
also have a brand new set of Stainless Marine Exhaust Manifolds that are brand new in the box with lightly used risers for some additional money
pics are available I just need your email address
thanks
