Making the trip this year...I know it's a little late but need some input...do not want to stay in a dive so whats out there... hows the transportation if I have to stay a little ways off. I saw the catalina posts...its very close to the convention center...but some of the comments by people who stayed there weren't so good.

National Hotel - on the beach and 4 blocks from the convention center.

Trump Sonesta Beach North Maimi nice but you have to pay for parking?

We'll be flying in and not planning on car rental so need to be close and have transportation...looks promising though
